Sunstream SunLift X Boat Lift (Family C)

The SunLift X (aka SLX) can lift your boat out of the water for safe storage with an easy, push-button launch. The "Family C" models are available for boats with a max weight capacity of 16,000 to 30,000 pounds.

Additional parts are available to accommodate any location for a perfect install.

These larger Family C lifts come with two hydraulic PowerPacks. Since each docking situation is different, all installation parts are sold separately. MOST installations will just need 4 legs for the lift, 2 batteries and 2 charging options (choose Solar or AC). Then you can look over all the extra customizations available below.

Step 1: Select your Lift The max weight capacity should be determined considering the full weight including all passengers, cargo and fuel. We recommend adding 1,000 pounds to your boat's dry weight when selecting your lift if you are unsure.

Step 2: Add your Batteries & Chargers (2x Required for Install) You'll need to purchase two Optima batteries to power the hydraulic lift pumps (one battery for each pump). Now, do you want Solar or AC charging? You can choose the AC Charging Kits which use a direct power line to charge the battery and does not need to rely on the sun. Or, the Solar Charging Kits allow your battery to be charged over time by the sun and does not require AC power on the dock. If you're in a location that gets a LOT of sun, Solar Regulators are recommended with the Solar Chargers. All parts are sold separately. Note: For the largest SLX24/SLX30 lifts, 24V AC power is recommended.

Step 3: Add your Legs (Required for Install) Four legs are required for install - sold individually. A little research and measuring will be needed at your dock. The legs are at all 4 corners at the base of the lift and should be selected depending on how deep the water is at your dock. 24' legs are not typically used - if you have water that deep, you may also need Bridge Tubes for reinforcement. Click on any part number to read more about legs. Another note - one 12' leg can be cut into four 3' legs.

Step 4: Customize your Install Below you'll find the Adjustment Range (AR) Kits which can change the overall height of the lift, hydraulic hose extensions and PowerPack shelves can be added if you need your PowerPack in a unique location. A SwiftShield or Sunstream Canopy will keep your boat fully covered and protected from the elements.

Flawless Hull Fit:
The SunLift SLX is the only hydraulic lift that has adjustable width bunks to achieve an ideal boat fit. Additionally, the boat height over water can be set with an adjustable lifting range up to 6.5 feet. The frame can also shift laterally to minimize the distance of the boat to dock to allow safe boarding every time. Sunstream SuperBunks softly cradle the hull and will last for years without wear. The Superbunks act as spring beams, which spread the load over the entire bunk, creating a comfortable resting spot for your boat without pressure points.

Superior Hydraulics:
The hydraulic system is the heart of a hydraulic lift and is key for reliability and performance. The SunLift never compromises on durability with all stainless steel cylinders, a patented shaft boot with scrubber and scraper seal, double braid stainless hoses and stainless fittings. The SunLift offers elite performance with a premium pressure balanced pump (vs a basic fixed gear pump) that has up to 20% more efficiency, higher speed, quieter sound and does not lose lifting capacity over time. The SoftStop eases hydraulic power for a smooth finish to the top position.

Modern Frame:
The SunLift SLX modern frame has a beauty that is worthy of displaying your boat. The frame has superior stiffness with the cylinders aligned with frame, fewer bolts, and a set bolt to remove movement in the leg socket. The Sunstream SLX boasts the best range of specifications on the market, with the highest lifting range, shallowest water depth, fastest speed, and capacities to 30,000lbs. Optional Leg Jacks can give an additional 3 feet of range to lakes with seasonal fluctuation. The over-center GravityLock gives you maximum peace of mind.

Bluetooth & App:
Sunstream's optional Bluetooth transmitter and smartphone app give you the power to lift your boat with your phone! It also gives important lift diagnostics to prevent a problem from becoming a problem. Bluetooth technology has a consistent range and is more responsive. Built-in security features protect your boat and 'depressurize' is ideal for seasonal users.


Installation & FAQ:
You will be responsible for picking up the lift and installing it on your own. Lifts will require a flat-bed trailer. When you pick up your lift at EK2 Marine, we have equipment to load it onto your trailer. Each lift will have their own unique set of install instructions, but here's one below for reference to review.

Additional Notes:
The Optima Yellow Top Battery DOES NOT require distilled water maintenance. Batteries typically should be replaced every 2-3 years.

The Hydraulic Power Box reservoir comes pre-filled. ONLY use Sunstream SunFluid with Sunstream hydraulics. Also called a Power Pack or PowerPack.

The included hydraulic hoses are 18 feet long from the lift. That should help you determine if you'll need additional extensions to connect to your power box.

Includes one remote controlled Bluetooth transmitter (or you can download the Sunstream App for your iPhone or Android). More transmitters can be purchased separately. There are also buttons located inside the Power Box to activate the lift manually.
